A rising junior at Stanford, Stowers is one of six Commodores slated to participate in the 2018 Cape Cod League All-Star Game. He earned the league’s Coca-Cola Player of the Week earlier this month, and is the only Commodores player to earn a weekly league award.
His top performance of the week came against Cotuit last Sunday, where he went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs.
“I think the one thing I’ve done pretty well is not being content with a good game, and trying to do something special or exciting every game,” Stowers said after the game.
Stowers’ .347 batting average ranks fourth in the Cape League. He also has eight doubles, four home runs and 16 RBIs.
